Beloved Prophet: The Love Letters of Kahlil Gibran and Mary Haskell
by Paulo Coelho

We love discovering people who lived long before us– people we may never have had the chance to meet– through the texts they wrote, the images they created, and the traces they left behind. These letters, brought together by Pablo Coelho, flow from Gibran’s heart and find their direction in the hands of Mary Haskell.
These correspondences give us the opportunity to get to know not only Khalil Gibran, but also Mary Haskell through him. It's more than just a love story between two lovers; it's like an inner journey that bends time.
Here is one of the letters we loved from the book:
May 24, 1914
Just think, Mary, of being caught in a thunderstorm! Is there a sight more wonderful than seeing the elements unleashing their wild power and energy? Come, Mary, let us leave behind the four walls of our rooms. Let us walk along deserted roads and talk a little. I can only understand myself when I share something with you. I have said this before, and I will keep saying it.”
For those who wish to take this journey of discovery a little further, we recommend The Prophet by Gibran.
"When a person loves, they reveal their soul; I, too, discovered Khalil Gibran’s inner world in his correspondence with Mary Haskell."
